Did I Get Ripped Off Buying a Side of Beef Helford
The country is gearing up for a series of royal events which will rival even that of the Queen's Coronation in 1952 - and that means a four-day weekend for many of us.
It also presents the perfect opportunity to hit one of Cornwall's many beautiful beer gardens and outdoor drinking spaces for a pint in the sun.
We've pulled together a list of our favourite pub gardens and sun traps and checked out all the reviews on TripAdvisor too to create an exhaustive list of the best places to meet family and friends and enjoy a drink or some food over the Jubilee weekend.
The list below is, of course, not exhaustive as we are blessed to have many amazing pubs and restaurants in Cornwall.

Best beer gardens in west Cornwall
The Sloop Inn, St Ives
The Sloop in St Ives is legendary for its meat raffles in winter and its sun deck in summer. Rammed with visitors on a sunny day, it's the perfect spot to watch the world go by.
Sodapop12 wrote on TripAdvisor: "We visited this pub many times during our week long stay. The weather was so good that we only sat in the garden to the front which overlooks the harbour. Plenty of seating on offer, albeit always full as it is clearly one of the few places you can sit out by the harbour.
"You can eat outside and food coming out looked good. We only had drinks and snacks and were happy with service. Inside was quite dark, but lovely I imagine in the winter."
Tinners Arms, Zennor
Take the world's most beautiful road (OK, so we're a bit biased but it is amazing) between St Ives and Land's End and you'll find the Tinners' Arms, probably rammed on a sunny day because, well, it's just lovely.
Gurnards Head, Zennor
Walk a mile down the road and you'll find another great garden and a whole bunch of people down from London just to hang out at the Gurnards.
Coastguards, Mousehole
Beautiful beer garden overlooking one of the prettiest coastal villages in Cornwall. Come for the views, stay for the food. And then head to the little harbour beach after for a spot of crabbing or a play on the sand.
The First and Last Inn, Sennen
The most south westerly pub in mainland England, this historic boozer has a great beer garden and also a children's play area.
Mark G wrote on TripAdvisor: "A pub that does what it says on the tin. Beer at normal prices and really good value food the specials for a tenner are worth taking advantage of. The garden is sheltered and gives you a place to sit and have a couple. Will go back when I am back."
Best beer gardens in mid Cornwall
Driftwood Spars, St Agnes
What a spot! Overlooking St Agnes beach, perched above the shoreline, the Drifty has not one but two beer gardens. The lower garden is in the car park, the cliffside garden - also used as a perfect wedding venue - is probably one of the best places in Cornwall to enjoy a pint in the sun.
Pandora Inn, Restronguet
This place is sublime. Sit on the deck and watch the boats go by on Restronguet Creek, set amongst some of the most expensive homes in Cornwall. You'll never want to leave.
Vertigo, Truro
One of the few pubs in the city centre where you can sit outside. The beer garden here is all the more interesting as it sits directly under the looming cathedral, hence that name. Vertigo, geddit?
The Working Boat Pub, Falmouth
Michael51923 commented: "What a lovely pub with great views.
"In the spring/summer sit in the vibrant little beer garden, beautiful views of the water to Flushing, friendly staff and always very good pub food. The patio heating keeps you warm with a vibrant heckle of happy people outside. Worth a few drinks visit."
Shipwrights Arms, Helford
Stunning views over the Helford estuary and a really lovely place to enjoy sup a glass of wine in the sunshine.
The Watering Hole, Perranporth
Not a beer garden but a beer beach. A favourite in Cornwall.
Best beer gardens in north Cornwall
Fort Inn, Newquay
The Fort Inn is located on Fore Street and has stunning sea views.
Rhiannon S wrote on TripAdvisor: "Best beer garden in Cornwall! The Fort has always been my favourite pub in Cornwall to visit as on a hot day the beer garden is fantastic!
"Overlooking the harbour and beach , it's a sun trap! Fantastic range of drinks available, haven't eaten here but seen food go past to other tables and it looks delicious... will definitely be trying the mussels next time I'm down. Words can't properly justify how lovely this pub".
Bowgie Inn, West Pentire
The Bowgie Inn is well known for its stunning views.
Vicky C wrote on TripAdvisor: "We visited this little gem twice during our holiday in Cornwall. The pub was recommended to us and we can't help but recommend it to you.
"The pub has large indoor seating areas and a fantastic beer garden with awesome views of the coastline and Crantock beach. Will definitely be returning if we're in the area again."
The Cornish Arms, St Merryn
Rick Stein's pub, the Cornish Arms at St Merryn, is a country pub with some of the best pub food in Cornwall.
JASW74 wrote on TripAdvisor: "A very pleasant drink and nibbles in the garden. Perfect setting overlooking the countryside. Prices on the high side for drinks (wine) but otherwise very nice."
St Kew Inn, Bodmin
A traditional pub with food to die for. Roaring fires in winter and a beautiful beer garden set amongst the trees to enjoy a summer lunch out.
The Falcon Inn, St Mawgan
BecksBee wrote on TripAdvisor: "Popped in after a trip to The Japanese Garden. Lovely beer garden and friendly, helpful staff. The food was presented well and tasted delicious. A very pleasant visit. We'd eat here again."
The Three Pilchards, Polperro
Be warned, it's up 13 steep steps but the beer garden is worth it with views out to sea described as "amazing".
